I once had great credit but eventually it was destroyed when I was held accountable for being diagnosed with a disease(MS) that prevents me from working. A real hacker can fuck-up someone’s credit if they would decide not to pay after the hack was completed. The hacker is covered, the client is not. All the potential client has is the “hacker’ telling them to trust them. Then that is when the scam occurs. I have been a victim several times with upfront payments. I won’t do it again. I’m not sure why a hacker wouldn’t base his business model on no upfront payments, only pay on the back end when the work is proven, their business model would thrive.
